Ayesha Inam, a proud GIKI graduate and Computer Software Engineer, believes that science and technology should feel like an adventure—exciting, hands-on, and full of possibilities. As a mom, she understands the curiosity that drives young minds and is passionate about creating learning experiences that spark that same sense of wonder.

 

Ayesha’s expertise lies in reimagining how children interact with learning. With international training, and certifications in STEM, Project Based Learning, Distinction Holder in Teaching and Learning using Digital Technologies,, from the Cambridge University, Harvard Graduate School of Education, LUMS School of Education, Beaconhouse, and Franklin Covey, she has explored and mastered K-10 STEM Ed, gamification, project-based learning, and game-based teaching—turning complex concepts into playful, immersive experiences and happiness infused learning. Her leadership at Leo’s Workshop, Franklin Covey and TNS Beaconhouse allowed her to implement groundbreaking inquiry-driven programs, proving that learning doesn’t have to be boring. It can be impactful, life-long and authentic if the learners are met at their individual levels of interests, ability levels and uniqueness.

 

But Ayesha isn’t just a STEM educator—she’s a STEM architect. With expertise in education technology and curriculum innovation, she meticulously designs every STEM Lab session to be immersive, engaging, and impactful. Whether she’s creating interactive learning experiences or crafting moments that make kids exclaim, “Aha! I get it now!”, her mission is clear: to ignite curiosity and empower the next generation of innovators, creators, and problem-solvers.

At the heart of every great invention is a simple question: “What happens if I try this?” Mehek Rashad, a GIKI-trained Metallurgy and Materials Engineer, has always been fascinated by the process of discovery. But for her, STEM is more than just science—it’s an experience. A global traveler, free spirit, and adventure-seeker, she brings a fresh perspective that transforms STEM Lab sessions into immersive, hands-on journeys filled with wonder, creativity, and a serious aesthetic wow factor.

 

With experience at leading organizations like Wateen, Engro, Nippon, Unilever, and PTC, Mehek developed a strong foundation in problem-solving and innovation. But her true passion lies in making STEM accessible and exciting—breaking down complex ideas into real-world applications that kids can see, touch, and experiment with. Her education training from the Harvard School of Education, combined with her global exposure, ensures that every lesson is infused with diversity, creativity, and new ways of thinking.

 

As a fun-loving, extroverted mom, Mehek connects effortlessly with both kids and parents, bringing energy and enthusiasm into every session. Whether she’s leading an electrifying hands-on experiment or drawing inspiration from her travels to design an unforgettable activity, she ensures that STEM at STEM Lab is more than just learning—it’s an experience.

At her core, Mehek believes that STEM should spark curiosity, not just comprehension. She champions a play-based, wonder-led approach, where exploration drives learning and every child feels empowered to ask bold questions. Imama Mehboob Ali’s passion for STEM education stems from her belief that learning should ignite curiosity and empower students to think critically and collaboratively. With a rich background in academic writing, economic analysis, and program management, Imama brings a multi-faceted approach to her work at STEM Lab.

 

Her expertise in statistical analysis and program design allows her to create innovative, engaging STEM activities that capture the imagination and push the boundaries of what students can achieve. As a skilled facilitator, Imama leads high-impact programs that not only nurture creativity but also encourage problem-solving and teamwork.

 

Imama’s commitment to fostering excellence in both students and educators drives her to constantly explore new methods of teaching and learning. As the Director of PBL Programs, she works tirelessly to empower the next generation of innovators, making sure every STEM experience is one that inspires and educates in equal measure.

Hiba Shakil

From the moment she set foot in the world of technology, Hiba Shakil knew it was her gateway to making a real difference. A Computer Science graduate from LUMS, Hiba saw technology not just as code and circuits, but as a bridge to transform  how we learn and connect.

 

Her journey has been defined by a passion for innovation and a drive to create impactful solutions. With a knack for product development, project management, and startup growth, she worked at organizations like Tintash, Xyla Water, Jumpact, vFairs, ABL, and ibex, shaping products that made a real-world impact., Along the way, she collaborated with global giants, including L’Oréal, Nestlé, NASA, EA, and Oxfam. Hiba has worked alongside mission-driven startups to secure funding and acceleration from prestigious institutions like the Harvard Seed Grant, The International Organization of La Francophonie, Hashoo Foundation, Google Startup Weekend, and Young Sustainable Impact, Norway.

 

As the Officer of Tech and Innovation at STEM Lab, Hiba channels her expertise into designing and leading cutting-edge tech programs. Whether it’s Robotics, AI, Data Science or Coding, she ensures that learning is not just innovative and scalable, but also an adventure—one that sparks curiosity, fuels creativity, and prepares the next generation to take on the world of tomorrow.

Digital Storyteller

Zainab Malik


For Zainab Malik, education and creativity go hand in hand. With a background in engineering from Beaconhouse National University, she has always been drawn to the intersection of technology and storytelling. Whether she’s designing engaging STEM experiences or crafting compelling digital content, her mission remains the same—to inspire young minds.

 

With teaching experience at institutions like TNS Beaconhouse and Lahore Grammar School, Zainab has a natural ability to connect with children, making learning both exciting and accessible. As STEM Lab’s Lead Facilitator, she brings energy, innovation, and a deep passion for sparking curiosity in every classroom. And behind the scenes, she shapes STEM Lab’s online presence, ensuring that the magic of learning extends beyond the lab and into the digital world.

 

Engineer of Imagination

Zafar Malik

Hamza Zafar Malik sees STEM education as more than just science and technology—it’s an adventure in creativity and discovery. With a background in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Art Education, he thrives at the crossroads of logic and imagination, crafting experiences that challenge students to think beyond formulas and facts.

 

At STEM Lab Pakistan, Hamza designs and leads hands-on learning programs that merge technology, art, and experiential education. Outside the lab, his passion for storytelling extends into cultural exploration through Guzargah, where he uncovers Lahore’s hidden histories. As a visiting faculty member at Beaconhouse National University, he continues to inspire young learners to see the world with curiosity and wonder.
